Elements of a Healthy Community 2

After Israel’s victory over the Amalekites, Jethro and Zipporah and their sons come to Mt. Sinai to meet with Moses. This passage highlights the relationship between Moses and Jethro and new faith in the God of Israel. Remarkably, Jethro was a Midianite priest who came to rejoice in Yahweh’s salvation. Their conversation, mutual respect and wise counsel model for us some key elements for building genuine gospel community.
