• A New Resolve (34-35), “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples…” (34,35)
  • They should see ‘’love” in conflict…
• A New Reality (36-38), “…Lord, why can I not follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.” (36)
